Malcolm Powell, legendary founder of the Norfolk Performance Poetry scene, is a bit like the Velvet Underground, who sold only a thousand copies of the first record, however; everyone who heard it went on to start a band. Powell was a part of the legendary Cabaret Voltaire scene; a member of the 2005 Norfolk slam team at the Southern Fried Southeastern Regional Slam Conference; and has most recently made his mark as the host and Slam Master at the now defunct Norfolk Slam. This book is a frenzied jam filled with pathos and hillarity. Not for the faint of heart.
